Synchronized Cardiac Support: What’s the difference between pulsatile and continuous flow?

This model illustrates the potential difference between continuous or non-pulsatile and pulsatile flow. It consists of two free-standing cannulas. The flow is generated by a pump and simulated with the help of water.
